Wynbrook is such a great place for riding lessons, we've had a really great experience so far and my daughter looks forward to her lessons every week! The horses are so well taken care of and well behaved.

Wynbrook Centre is an absolutely fantastic, family friendly place in Ottawa, right off 417 East! The ranch and the horses are beautiful and well taken care of. My daughter loves her one on one lessons and finds she's improving and learning a lot with each one. All the instructors are very patient and wonderful.

Wynbrook is excellent. The stables are well run, the owners are communicative and you can tell the horses are loved. You can tell cleanliness and diligence is high on their list. They foster a warm community, and their arenas are huge. Great teachers, and the property is fantastic. 5 stars! Thanks Lisa and the Wynbrook team!

I decided to get back to horseback riding following a twenty year absence from the sport and chose Wynbrook Equestrian Centre in Vars (Ottawa) to guide me back into the sport. I greatly appreciated their understanding of my concerns as a senior citizen requiring a safe mount and their welcoming my granddaughters and I into their wonderful "barn family" (and even the non riding members of our family). Their compassion for their clients and concern for their horses is admirable, the patience of the coach is refreshing and encouraging (compared to previous experiences elsewhere), the cleanliness of the beautiful facilities (two indoor riding arenas, immaculate stable with wide centre aisle) and the highly organized tack room are striking but what is most endearing was the warmth of the welcome, the wonderful family atmosphere and the refreshing new culture of horsemanship! I highly recommend Wynbrook!! You won't be disappointed!!

My experience at Wynbrook has been absolutely fantastic. I haven't been around a horse in near 40 yrs, nor have I ever taken lessons. My coach, Amy, has been truly awesome! 👍 She obviously has a lot of experience and it clearly shows with her enthusiasm to teach. I would recommend everyone to come here, atmosphere is great and Stella, my horse, she's truly beautiful, not only to ride but to be around. She likes to pretend to nip yah, just reminding yah who the real boss is, lol. I have always wanted to do this, and Wynbrook has helped me not only make a dream come true, but fulfill a top bucket item list for me. Congratulations on a well done job.

Wynbrook is not only an amazing riding school it is like our extended family. At Wynbrook we can watch our children learn not only the skills but the true value of horsemanship. Patience, understanding, empathy, compassion, self-control and dedication.

We love this stable and staff, everyone is so friendly. The horses are taken care of really well and the instructor is on the ball.

Our 8 year old daughter started riding lessons at Wynbrook last November, and in just a few months, she has learned so much and gained so much confidence with Amy as her instructor. After trying many centres, we have finally found a home at Wynbrook!! The facilities are beautiful, the horses are immaculately cared for and the owners and staff are extremely warm and welcoming. My daughter is thriving, learning more in one lesson than in months at previous centres. I cannot express enough how wonderful Wynbrook is and how grateful I am for my daughter being able to ride here.

Wynbrook is undeniably the best barn I have ridden at!! The Lalonde family, coaches and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. As well as the high level of care for the horses and students is unlike any barn I have been to over my many years. I have only been riding here for a few months but I feel like I have already learned so much and I am very excited to continue my journey here at Wynbrook.

What an unbelievable experience I had yesterday. Getting up on Flashy was a life long dream and you and your stables made it happen ❤️. Now for your staff! What an amazing group of people! I could not have been made more welcome than I was yesterday. Lindsay was absolutely amazing - she answered all my questions, and offered up so many tips it was unbelievable. She never once made me feel like I didn't belong. Her enthusiasm about horseback riding and sharing her love of it was contagious. It was an absolute joy to learn how to ride a horse with her. Now for those young women that helped me get my horse ready. Again an absolute joy to be taught by those young people. They never once made me feel like an old woman learning how to ride a horse LOL. Their knowledge, patience and their love of the animal, was so evident, made me feel like a young lady hanging out with friends❤️. What beautiful, kind, generous young ladies they are. And they are great teachers, answering all my crazy questions, talking me through my hesitation of cleaning Flashy's shoes, and even telling me all the proper names of each item - which of course this old brain has forgotten this morning 😂. Thanks again!!!

I’ve loved horses my entire life but growing up due to personal circumstances, never thought riding was an option for me. Then, as an adult I made a choice to invest in myself and when I did I asked myself what brings me peace ? The immediate and only answer was horses! So, I decided to look into riding. I was so nervous starting later in life than most in the horse world , and being a shy awkward person to begin with, that what ever riding school I ended up at I might feel embarrassed , silly , not included or a part of the riding world. And, I really knew nothing about riding schools or where to start. a friend recommended Wynbrook —- and I am SOOOOOO happy they did!! I’ve had nothing short of a positive experience from the tour of the barn , my first lesson and every day since. Wynbrook has amazing horses, people and culture !! The school horses all have such wonderful, vibrant, fun and gentle personalities. And, Jacob’s the best horse of them all ask anyone ! :) I’ve had the pleasure of working with a few different coaches now and each one of them have just been amazing - supportive, approachable, warm, patient, uplifting and never do they ever make me feel bad or judged for not knowing something. If you join Wynbrook no matter what coach you get you’re in for a treat ! And every lesson help is there with a smile, just so friendly and helpful and making you feel good about being at the barn. I don’t know much about the culture of the riding world , but what I do know is that from what I’ve seen coaches , lesson help, riders and owners these are all very genuine, kind and down to earth people who care about the horses and the people Riding them. You know just by looking at them that every horse is well loved and treated ethically, and every rider is happy to be there. I could go on and on and on!! I’ll just end with a special note on the owners. You couldn’t find better , more friendly , kind and understanding people !! Always so responsive and thoughtful, and engaged. I don’t know what other schools are like , but i know I don’t need to. Wynbrook is the school for me now and for always ! Thank you Wynbrook for making my horse lovers dream come true ! :) :)

My daughter loves her weekly session with Erin B. She’s learning tons and improved a lot since starting her lessons in August 2022. Everyone is welcoming and always prepared to answer our questions.
