We’ve used Effective Air for over 20 years…installs and annual services. Always happy with technicians who care, and on 1/25/2024, Adam did not disappoint. I appreciate the thoroughness, cleanliness of work site and home, and his communication. Both Effective Air and Adam are trustworthy and honest. That continued on 5/23/24 with Daniel who took more than ample time and great care to tune up our A/C for the summer. Found a small problem and expertly corrected it. Then today, May 17, North Shore Gas company came here to do their 3-year meter check. I asked them to check the furnace as I occasionally smell gas. Turns out there was a pin hole leak in a gas line junction on a pipe that was original to our 1960 home.. Called Effective Air and within 20 minutes Adrian arrived with an assistant and confirmed what the gas company found. After their assessment, they saw a gas line that was galvanized and suggested we replace that along with the junctions. After pictures and phone calls to other techs in the company, a game plan was developed that included the repair to take place the next business day - at a fair price. Adrian could not have been more accommodating, sincere or trustworthy. Miguel and Josh repeated the service excellence today as they removed and installed new gas lines - neat and clean repair, very professional and they know what they are doing. These are reasons we continue to be a satisfied customer. Thank you, EA.

I had been dealing with a thump in the wall for over a year. Daniel researched everything! He was incredibly thorough and we think we found out the thump came from an old humidifier attached to the furnace. They are replacing tomorrow! What service!

Ben is one of the most knowledgeable technicians I’ve encountered in troubleshooting issues with a heat pump . He had the right tools to find a coolant leak immediately, and then he very quickly made the repairs and recharged the system. His expertise translated into significant savings for me (relative to other hvac companies I’ve worked with on this issue).

The team from Effective Air came and did a great job replacing my split system AC, I am very satisfied with the price too, would recommend. Thanks

Hugo and Marcos were amazing! Hugo diagnosed a problem with my furnace and fixed it on the same day. Another company misdiagnosed the issue, and said I should either get the Heat Exchange unit swapped out ($1500) or replace the entire furnace (Over $3000). Hugo found the actual problem, got the part, and fixed it for under $400. Plus he gave me recommendations on how to fix the bigger issues. I am so impressed with this company.

I already used Effective Air for work where they’ve always been excellent. So when my heat wouldn’t turn on this Fall, I immediately called them to help at my home. Our heating system is obsolete and niche- the cutting edge in 1964 when it was installed and never used since. It includes electric radiant heat in the ceiling, three way switches and separate thermostats for each room. Because of the rarity of the parts, they had took the original part with them to find a direct replacement but in the meantime set up a temporary solution so that I could have heat. Above and beyond in service, creative problem solving and professionalism. 10 out of 10 would call again.

I've been using Effective Air at both my business and home for about five years, and they have been fantastic. Whatever the issue, they've always helped us get up and running as quickly as possible and at a reasonable cost.

I had my annual check up and service for my furnace which was very thorough and informative. The technician showed me on his tablet the interior of the furnace using his camera scope that he can feed into all the different sections of the furnace. The physical inspection along with the digital heat temperature and exhaust measurements were taken to make sure that it is safe as I have an old unit from 1977. I really appreciate the time that he took to ready my furnace for the winter!!! Thank you Gary!!!
