Still a jewel in the city! Have been here countless times especially for the lunch buffet that never goes wrong for the price. excellent lunch buffet for the price! Sumptuous and satisfying selections of noodles, soups, curry dishes, vegetarian, beef, chicken, and fish with just the right choices of desserts. The range is quite impressive for the price you're paying plus the ambiance is unexpectedly genuine and appealing. What tops it off is that this place is smack dab in downtown Toronto, which makes it a wow factor on its own. A truly must try!

Great food. Kala is super sweet and accomodating. I mentioned that I was struggling with a spicy dish. She brought me a little cup of milk to help.

My boyfriend and I spent our time here and at the wellness section form our one year anniversary and it was so amazing! The food here was so delicious and the atmosphere was romantic and every server greeted us with warmth and a smile and excellent hospitality. I especially appreciated Kala who gave us our anniversary coconut creme brûlée and was so friendly and sweet to greet us happy anniversary :) as a queer couple we felt safe here and would come back again. Our food was free as it was included in the wellness service my boyfriend purchased and it came with two appetizers, two main courses, and two desserts, and a glass of wine for us both.

Absolute must visit. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside, the food is 10/10 for taste and presentation, and the staff is delightful. They were so nice and friendly. We asked them how long the restaurant had been there and they said 40+ years and I completely understand why, it’s great! Plus, they said the head chef who made our food was hired from Thailand 40 years ago and was the one who was still making our food today. Such a lovely restaurant ❤️

OMG! I asked for a combination pad thai and it was exceptional. The seafood was abundent and tasty such value for money from an Aussie. My hubbie had the spring rolls and chicken fried rice and was so happy. Thank you Bangkok Garden

I cannot say enough good things about our server, Kala. She was so sweet and friendly and I want to adopt her as my grandmother. I will be back to see her!! ...oh yeah and the food is great too!

I was so pleased at my dining experience here - the food was absolutely fantastic. We got the pineapple fried rice, the yellow curry with shrimp, and the mango salad. Each one was better than the last. I have zero complaints. The vibe was also really beautiful and peaceful, we were seated right next to the koi pond, and the lighting was nicely candle lit. I’m so surprised I haven’t known about this place given that I live a couple blocks away. Special mention to our wonderful server Kala who gave us fantastic recommendations and so kindly complimented my mother. Thanks for making my time so nice! Can’t wait to come back again.

Came here for dinner for the first time and not only was the food excellent, it arrived very quickly for our group, and the service from our waitress Kala was fantastic - she really made us feel welcome and taken care of with her friendliness and attentiveness. I ordered the spicy beef from the grilled menu options.

I’ve now been to Bangkok gardens twice and each time has been wonderful. It was great food, great waiter, and a great environment. Due to our experience the first time we made sure to come back once we were in the area and we will definitely be coming again. If you visit I suggest a fish dish; it has been the standout of our meal each time. We had Kala as our waiter and she was so nice and helpful. She was fun to talk to without being overbearing. She also let us know more about each of the different options as we were deciding what to get. She was also good at anticipating our needs. As we were talking, she realized we were going to share everything family style, so she had everything plated to make it easier for us to dish and share. We got the coconut soup. I always get it whenever it’s on the menu at a Thai restaurant and theirs was really good and light but still filing. We got the large option which allowed us to share and take a lot home. The mango salad was awesome. The fish dish, though was the main star. I rarely order fish when I eat out but the first time we came we ordered their fish roasted in banana leaves. It was so good everyone at the table lost their manners and kept taking some from our friend’s plate. We have thought about that fish dish for years and it’s why we suggested this restaurant to so many people. Unfortunately it is no longer on the menu😭😭 (I truly hope they find a way to bring it back one day😔). Fortunately the other fish option was was really. It was soft and so good. I hope to one day go back and make it a third visit soon.

I went to Bangkok Garden on November 2024 for dinner, and the dining experience was superb. The flavors of the dishes are worth going back for.

We always go after our spa treatment next door, the food is INCREDIBLE but the service is even better!!! Our waiter Kala was the sweetest person we’ve ever met, so personable and really connected with our family. She made such tailored recommendations that were all delicious! Other staff were constantly checking up on us and making conversation. This place is a classic for a reason, will be back! :)
